Our company is the exclusive distributor of the USA based Arlon films in Hungary. This brand is extremely popular in USA. Before entering into this business we verified the factory statements about the product on our own, so we exposed the film to extreme conditions. We purchased a rear door with false window of Mercedes Sprinter whose notch is considered by the professionals as the most difficult case for film installation and we took this as a qualification tool for this test.
As you can see on photos attached we carried out the following tests on this notch:
we put the unit into a furnace at temperature + 80 oC for 8 hours duration and then poured cold water on it
kept the test unit in a fridge at temperature -18oC for 24 hours and poured hot water (+ 40oC ) on it
the surface was exposed to 15 atm pressure water jet with the purpose to remove the film. the test failed, the film did stay on the door surface
After having carried out above tests we actually installed the product to our own Suzuki R+ vehicle (see photos after 11 months of use). Since that time I wash the car twice a week and park it open air at all seasons. Until now our product has been applied to appr. 140 cars in Hungary and met the maximum satisfaction of our Customers.
